A casing for smoking and storage of foodstuffs is provided. The casing comprises a heat-shrinkable tubular laminate including at least one layer of a polyamide resin and at least one layer of a modified polyolefin resin having adhesiveness to said polyamide resin, said layer of modified polyolefin resin having a thickness of from 1 to 25µm, or the casing comprises a heat-shrinkable tubular laminate including at least one layer of a polyamide resin, at least one intermediate layer of a modified polyolefin resin having adhesiveness to said polyamide resin, and at least one layer of a polyolefin resin, said modified polyolefin resin layer and the polyolefin resin layer having a combined thickness of from 1 to 25µm. The casing is effective as a replacement for both the primary casing and the secondary casing of the prior art.

Boyau pour fumer et contenir des aliments. Le boyau est composé d'un laminé tubulaire thermorétractable comportant au moins une couche de résine polyamidique et au moins une couche de résine de polyoléfine modifiée adhérant à ladite résine polyamidique, l'épaisseur de ladite couche de résine de polyoléfine modifiée variant de 1 à 25 microns. Le boyau peut aussi être composé d'un laminé tubulaire thermorétractable comportant au moins une couche de résine polyamidique, au moins une couche intermédiaire de résine de polyoléfine modifiée adhérant à ladite couche de résine polyamidique, et au moins une couche de résine de polyoléfine, l'épaisseur de ladite couche de résine de polyoléfine modifiée et de la couche de résine polyoléfinique combinées variant de 1 à 25 microns. Le boyau constitue une solution de rechange efficace aux boyaux primaire et secondaire existants.
