L'invention concerne un carter (10) supportant des séries d'aubes fixes entre lesquelles sont disposées des séries d'aubes mobiles (20) en rotation autour d'un axe longitudinal, l'extrémité radialement externe desdites aubes mobiles (20) étant proche de la face interne du carter. De façon caractéristique, le carter comporte, au moins sur une couronne située en regard de l'une des séries d'aubes mobiles (20), au moins une zone de traitement de carter (12) tournée en direction des aubes et comprenant une perturbation du relief de surface sous la forme d'une rainure de contour fermé. Application à la maîtrise du décollement tournant d'un compresseur de turbomachine.
