The invention concerns a method for casting PMMA plates with enhanced shockproofness comprising the following steps: 1) heating a mixture including: at least one alkoxyamine Z (-T)n wherein Z represents a multivalent group and n an integer greater than 2, preferably between 2 and 10, advantageously between 2 and 8 and the monomer(s) designed to form a central sequence B to a temperature sufficient for activating alkoxyamine and polymerizing the monomer(s); 2) reactivating the central sequence B optionally mixed with the non-consumed monomer(s) of step 1) in the presence of the monomer(s) designed to form the branches A; 3) adding MAM to the mixture obtained at step 2) and optionally at least one comonomer M capable of free radical copolymerization with the MMA and at least one free radical initiator; 4) casting the mixture obtained at step 3) in a mould, followed by heating.

Procédé de préparation de plaques coulées en PMMA renforcées à l'impact comprenant les étapes suivantes : 1. on chauffe un mélange comprenant : au moins une alcoxyamine Z (-T)n dans laquelle Z désigne un groupement multivalent et n un entier supérieur à 2, de préférence compris entre 2 et 10, avantageusement entre 2 et 8 et le (s) monomère (s) destiné (s) à former une séquence centrale B à une température suffisante pour activer alcoxyamine et polymériser le (s) monomère (s) ; 2. on réactive la séquence centrale B éventuellement mélangée avec le (s) monomère (s) non consommé (s) de l'étape 1 en présence du (des) monomère (s) destiné (s) à former les branches A ; 3. on ajoute au mélange obtenu à l'étape 2 du MAM et éventuellement au moins un comonomère M copolymérisable par voir radicalaire avec le MMA et au moins un amorceur radicalaire ; 4. le mélange de l'étape 3 est coulé dans un moule, puis chauffé.
