The invention relates to a suspension unit for a vehicle, in particular motor vehicle, having a rigid axle, comprising a longitudinal member (2) or axle member having a suspension section (8), a support section (10) and an axle receptacle section (12), wherein the suspension section is designed to be rotatably or pivotably articulatedly mounted on a frame element of the vehicle, the longitudinal member can be supported on the frame element by means of the support section, and the vehicle axle can be arranged on or fastened to the axle receptacle section arranged between the suspension section and the support section, and to a hollow cylindrical element (4, 6, 14), wherein the longitudinal member is formed from a cast or composite material and the hollow cylindrical element is formed from a weldable material, and wherein the hollow cylindrical element is arranged in the axle receptacle section and is connected to the longitudinal member in a form-fitting and/or force-fitting manner.

L'invention concerne une unité de suspension pour véhicule, en particulier un véhicule automobile doté d'un essieu rigide, et qui comprend un bras longitudinal (2) ou bras d'essieu doté d'une partie de suspension (8), d'une partie d'appui (10) ainsi que d'une partie (12) de réception de l'essieu, la partie de suspension étant conçue de manière à être articulée à rotation ou à pivotement sur un élément de châssis du véhicule, le bras longitudinal pouvant s'appuyer sur l'élément de châssis par la partie d'appui et l'essieu du véhicule pouvant être installé ou fixé sur la partie de réception d'essieu disposée entre la partie de suspension et la partie d'appui. L'unité comprend également un élément (4, 6, 14) en cylindre creux, le bras longitudinal étant formé d'un matériau coulé ou d'un matériau composite, l'élément en cylindre creux étant formé d'un matériau soudable. L'élément en cylindre creux est disposé dans la partie de réception de l'essieu et est relié en correspondance géométrique et/ou en correspondance mécanique au bras longitudinal.
