ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A die casting apparatus includes a stationary mould or die and movable mould or die wherein a cavity and runner arc formed between the two moulds when the movable mould abuts against the stationary mould. The apparatus also includes a castings push-out device in the stationary mould to push out castings from the cavity after a casting process. A sealing plunger is slidably provided within the stationary mould to be adapted to push out a runner portion of the castings from the runner. The plunger is interconnected with the castings push-out device in a manner, for example, that a cylinder device for the plunger is fixed on a movable base member of the castings push-out device, so that the plunger is synchronized with the castings push-out device to push out the castings from the cavity and runner simultaneously.
