ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to the method and apparatus for casting a solidifiable liquid phase matter in a medium of minute particles such as powder or granular material. A form-guiding element having a predetermined configuration and dimension is disposed within the powder or granular mat- erial. The form-guiding element is then controllably moved along a locus within the medium and the liquid phase material is injected behind the form-guiding element along its locus while the element is being moved. The liquid phase matter solidifies along the locus to form the desired object. Various forms and configuration in the object may be formed by controlling speed and/or direction of movement of the form-guiding element.
