The invention relates to a casting material for producing shaped parts for sanitary appliances, comprising a methyl methacrylate-based syrup and 50-85 % (in relation to the casting material) of an inorganic filler. The aim of the invention is to improve the scratch resistance and resistance to abrasion of the parts produced with this casting material. To this end, the inventive casting material also comprises 5 wt.% to < 20 wt.% (in relation to the mass of the syrup) elastomer particles or elastomer particle agglomerates with a particle size < 100 µm.
L'invention concerne une matière à couler pour la production de pièces moulées sanitaires, qui comprend un sirop à base de méthacrylate de méthyle et 50 à 85 % en poids d'une matière de charge inorganique, par rapport à la matière à couler. Pour augmenter la résistance aux eraflures et la résistance à l'abrasion des pièces moulées produites avec ladite matière à couler, il est proposé que celle-ci comprenne en outre des particules ou des agglomérats de particules d'élastomère d'une taille inférieure à 100 mu m, en une quantité comprise dans la plage 5 à < 20 % en poids, par rapport à la masse du sirop.
