ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: This invention relates to means for teeming molten steel into the feedhead of a continuous casting mould. These means comprise a plurality of pouring pipes having outlet orifices set at an angle to the horizontal, and a baffle prefera- bly deflectably mounted, between the pouring pipes for control- ling the pattern of flow. These means permit a purer casting to be obtained.
