ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A casting installation for casting slip into a ceramic product includes a pressure-resistant container having a surrounding wall formed along the inner surface thereof to define an opening through the container. A casting mold adapted to be located in this opening establishes a space which surrounds the casting mold, the latter being composed of a plurality of separate mold parts each having a plurality of channels therein and having its respective outer face treated to be fluid tight and an inner molding surface. The assembled mold parts are dimensioned to define a molding cavity, the space being in communication therewith. The casting mold is firmly clamped, and channels are capable of being depressurized. A source of slip is operatively connected to the mold cavity, and a fluid source is operatively connected to the space surrounding the casting mold.
