The invention relates to a casting roller for a thin strip casting system, comprising an essentially cylindrical core (1) with a covering (2) consisting of copper or a copper alloy, said covering being optionally provided with at least one outer coating (5); an inner cooling system (4) and a regulating device (8, 17, 20) for regulating the outer contour of the casting roller in the front face end areas (7). According to the invention, the regulating device has a support plate (17) in each front face end area of the casting roller. This provides a structurally simple means of evening out heat-related cambering. Said support plate can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the casting roller and engages with a ring (8) that radially surrounds the support plate (17), rests against the cover (2) in its front face end areas, respectively, on the inside, and is immovably fixed in relation to the core (1) in the longitudinal direction of the casting roller.
L'invention concerne le cylindre de laminage d'une installation de laminage de minces bandes. Ce cylindre comprend un noyau sensiblement cylindrique (1), une enveloppe (2) en cuivre ou en alliage de cuivre dont l'extérieur est éventuellement doté d'au moins un revêtement (5), un refroidissement interne (4) et un dispositif de réglage (8, 17, 20) permettant de régler le contour externe du cylindre de laminage dans ses zones terminales-faces frontales (7). L'invention vise à compenser les bombements dus à la température grâce à des moyens de conception simple. A cet effet, le dispositif de réglage présente, dans chaque zone terminale-face frontale du cylindre de laminage, un disque d'appui (17) qui est réglage dans le sens longitudinal du cylindre de laminage et qui agit sur un anneau (8). Cet anneau entoure radialement le disque d'appui (17) et est en contact avec l'intérieur de l'enveloppe (2) respectivement au niveau des zones terminales-faces frontales. Cet anneau (8) est monté immobile par rapport au noyau (1) dans le sens longitudinal du cylindre de laminage.
