Catadioptric Projection Lantern Abstract A transparency projector includes a transparent sheet (32) having one surface formed with a field of corner reflectors (33) in which corresponding surfaces of each of the corner reflectors are deviated from orthogonality. A transparency (39) adjacent to the retrodirectional reflector sheet is illuminated by a light source (34) adjacent to a projection lens (36) and light reflected from the retrodirectional reflec- tor sheet back through the transparency forms images (37, 38) of the light source at positions on each side of the light source which are within the aperture of the projection lens (36). A transparency having three-dimensional ink spots which form dioptric lenti- cules can be projected by the transparency projection system without degradation of color. (Fig. 6)
