Provided is a method for the synthesis of N-protected bis-3,6-[4-aminobutyl]- 2,5-diketopiperazine including the step of heating a solution of .epsilon.- amino protected lysine in the presence of a catalyst selected from the group consisting of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and phosphorus pentoxide.

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à la synthèse de bis-3,6-[4-aminobutyl]-2,5-dicétopipérazine N-protégée et consistant à chauffer une solution de lysine e-amino-protégée en présence d'un catalyseur choisi dans le groupe constitué par l'acide sulfurique, l'acide phosphorique et le pentoxyde de phosphore.
