Compositions useful for activating catalysts for olefin polymerization are-provided. The compositions are derived from at least: a) compound derived from at least (i) carrier having at least one pair of hydrogen bonded hydroxyl groups, (ii) organoaluminum compound, and (iii) Lewis base, such that each of a majority of aluminum atoms in the organoaluminum compound forms chemical bonds with at least two oxygen atoms from the at least one pair of hydrogen bonded hydroxyl groups; and b) Bronsted acid, wherein the molar ratio of the Bronsted acid to the organoaluminum compound is less than or equal to about 2:1.
L'invention concerne des compositions que l'on utilise pour activer des catalyseurs pour la polymérisation d'oléfines. Ces compositions sont dérivées d'au moins : a) un composé dérivé d'au moins (i) un vecteur ayant au moins une paire de groupes d'hydroxyle à liaison hydrogène, (ii) un composé d'organoaluminium, et (iii) une base de Lewis, ainsi, chacun de la plupart des atomes d'aluminium dans le composé d'organoaluminium forme des liaisons chimiques avec au moins deux atomes d'oxygène des paires de groupes d'hydroxyle à liaison hydrogène; et b) un acide de Bronsted, dans lequel le rapport molaire du composé organoaluminium est inférieur ou égal à environ 2:1.
