ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An all metal catalyst carrier is disclosed. The carrier is made of interlaced, woven, heat resistant wire which is preferably of circular cross-section. A mat of the wire is formed with a multiplicity of layers of wire. Advantages are ease of fabrication, more uniform spacing of wires, and lower pressure drop.
