This invention relates to a dispersion of supported and nonsupported catalyst components comprising: (a) an ionic compound comprising (a)(I) a cation and (a)(2) an anion having up to 100 nonhydrogen atoms and the anion containing at least one substituent comprising a moiety having an active hydrogen, and, optionally, (d) a support material, wherein the supported catalyst component is in solid forth dispersed in a diluent in which both (a) and (d) are insoluble or sparingly soluble. The catalyst component is combined with (b) a transition metal compound and wherein the catalyst component is a substantially inactive catalyst precursor, or wherein the catalyst component further comprises (c) an organometal or metalloid compound wherein the metal or metalloid is selected from the Groups 1-l4 of the Periodic Table of the Elements and the catalyst component is a reaction product of (a) and (c). (a), (b), (c), and, optionally, (d) are combined to produce catalysts. Included are methods for preparation of the catalyst components, catalysts and reaction products, as well as a polymerization process using the catalysts.
L'invention concerne une dispersion de composants de catalyseur supportés et non supportés, comprenant: un composé ionique (a) qui comporte un cation (a1) et un anion (a2) présentant jusqu'à 100 atomes non hydrogènes, l'anion comportant au moins un substituant portant au moins un fragment d'hydrogène actif, et éventuellement, un matériau support (d), le composant de catalyseur supporté se présentant sous forme solide dispersée dans un diluant dans lequel le composé ionique (a) et le matériau support (d) sont tous les deux insolubles ou à peine solubles. Le composant de catalyseur est combiné à un composé de métal de transition (b), dans lequel le composant de catalyseur est un précurseur de catalyseur sensiblement inactif, ou dans lequel le composé de catalyseur comprend également un composé métalloïde ou orgamétallique (c), le métal ou le métalloïde appartenant aux Groupes 1-14 du Tableau périodique des éléments. Le composant de catalyseur est en outre issu de la réaction du composé ionique (a) sur le composé métalloïde ou organométallique (c). Les composés (a, b, c, et éventuellement d) se combinent pour produire des catalyseurs. L'invention concerne également des procédés de préparation des composants de catalyseur, des catalyseurs et des produits de réaction, ainsi, qu'un procédé de polymérisation utilisant de tels catalyseurs.
