The invention relates to a zeolitic catalyst corresponding to an acid form of zeolite ITQ-7 and/or all their possible intergrowths, a method for preparing said catalyst and the utilization thereof for alkylating aromatic compounds with olefins, alcohols or polyalkylated aromatic compounds. The catalyst and the application referred to in the invention are particularly useful for the production of cumene.
L'invention concerne un catalyseur zéolitique correspondant à une forme acide de zéolite ITQ-7 et/ou à tous ses entrelacements possibles, son procédé de préparation et son application dans l'alkylation d'aromatiques avec des oléfines, des alcools ou des composés aromatiques polyalkilés. Le catalyseur et l'application de la présente invention sont particulièrement utiles pour la production de cumène.
