Disclosed is an olefin polymerization catalyst comprising (a) aluminoxane, (b-I) a first transition metal compound ML 1 x (in which M is a Group IVB metal such as Zr, x is the valence of M and L 1 is a ligand, at least two of L 1 being optionally substituted cyclopentadienyl hydrocarbon and the other of L 1 being hydrocarbon, alkoxy, aryloxy, trialkylsilyl, halogen or hydrogen) and (b-II) a second transition metal compound ML 2 x (in which M and x are as defined above and L 2 is a ligand, at least two of L 2 being cyclopentadienyl substituted with 2-5 substituents selected from methyl and ethyl and the other of L 2 being hydrocarbon, alkoxy, aryloxy, trialkylsilyl, halogen or hydrogen). By using the catalyst, an olefin polymer having high melt tension and good moldability may be prepared.
