An epoxidation catalyst is prepared by contacting a vanadium or titanium silicalite slurry with an ion exchangeable noble metal complex, and the catalyst is used without drying or calcining for olefin epoxidation by contact with O2, H2 and olefin.

L'invention concerne la préparation d'un catalyseur d'époxydation consistant à mettre en contact une solution de silicalite de vanadium ou de titane avec un complexe de métal noble à échange d'ions. Le catalyseur est ensuite utilisé sans être séché ou calciné dans le processus d'époxydation d'une oléfine par contact avec O2, H2 et l'oléfine.
