The present invention includes Fischer-Tropsch cata- lysts, reactions using Fischer-Tropsch catalysts, methods of making Fis- cher-Tropsch catalysts, processes of hydrogenating carbon monoxide, and fuels made using these processes. The invention provides the abil- ity to hydrogenate carbon monoxide with low contact times, good con- version rates and low methane selectivities. In a preferred method, the catalyst is made using a metal foam support.
La présente invention concerne des catalyseurs Fischer-Tropsch, des réactions obtenus au moyen de catalyseurs Fischer-Tropsch, des techniques de réalisation de catalyseurs Fischer-Tropsch, des méthodes d'hydrogénation de monoxyde de carbone, et les carburants ainsi obtenus. Cette invention permet d'hydrogéner du monoxyde de carbone avec de faibles durées de contact pour des taux de transformation favorables et de faibles sélectivités du méthane. Selon un mode de réalisation préféré, le catalyseur comporte un support en mousse métallique.
