- 43 - A catalyst composition for the condensation of alcohols with amines to produce an enhanced ratio of acyclic polyamines to other reaction products, comprising a reaction product of: (a) high surface area metal oxides or metal oxide precursors, or mixtures thereof, of metals selected from the group consisting of Groups 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of the Periodic Table, (b) a phosphorous component, and (c) metal oxides or metal oxide precursors, or mixtures thereof, of metals selected from the group consisting of Groups 1, 2, and 3 of the Periodic Table.
Composition catalytique pour la condensation d'alcools avec des amines donnant un meilleur rendement de polyamines acycliques par rapport aux autres produits de réaction; la composition renferme un produit de réaction : a) d'oxydes métalliques ou de précurseurs de ces oxydes à aire surfacique élevée, ou encore de leurs mélanges, avec des métaux choisis dans les groupes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, 14 et 15 du Tableau périodique; b) d'un composé phosphoré; c) d'oxydes métalliques ou de leurs précurseurs, ou encore de leurs mélanges, les métaux étant choisis parmi les groupes 1, 2 et 3 du Tableau périodique.
