The present invention relates to a catalyst comprising at least one metal loaded on a hydrotalcite-based carrier material which has the following formula in its uncalcined form: M2+aM3+b(An-)(OH)2a+3b-n*xH2O, wherein M2+ is at least one divalent metal; and M3+ is at least one trivalent metal; A is an n-valent anion, n is 1 or 2 and a and b are positive numbers, a~b. When said at least one metal is selected from the group VIII of the periodical system of the elements a useful (de)hydrogenation catalyst is achieved.
La présente invention concerne un catalyseur qui comprend au moins un métal chargé sur un support à base d'hydrotalcite dont la formule dans sa forme non calcinée est la suivante: M?2+¿¿a?M?3+¿¿b?(A?n-¿)(OH)¿2a+3b-n?*xH¿2?O. Dans cette formule M?2+¿ correspond à au moins un métal bivalent, et M?3+¿ correspond à au moins un métal trivalent, A correspond à un anion de valence n, n vaut 1 ou 2, enfin a et b sont des nombres positifs tels que a~b. Lorsque ledit métal (au moins un) appartient au groupe VIII de la classification périodique des éléments un catalyseur d'hydrogénation ou de déshydrogénation utile est réalisé.
