A process is described for the upgrading of hydrocarbon mixtures which boil within the naphtha range containing sulfur impurities, i.e. a hydrodesulfuration process with contemporaneous skeleton isomerization and reduced hydrogenation degree of the olefins contained in said hydrocarbon mixtures, the whole process being carried out in a single step. The process is carried out in the presence of a catalytic system comprising a metal of group VI B, a metal of group VIII and a carrier of acid nature consisting of a mesoporous silico-alumina.

Divulgation d'un procédé de valorisation de mélanges d'hydrocarbures, dont le point d'ébullition se situe dans la plage des températures d'ébullition du naphta, contenant des impuretés soufrées, p. ex. un procédé d'hydrodésulfuration avec isomérisation concomitante du squelette et degré d'hydrogénation réduit des oléfines contenues dans lesdits mélanges d'hydrocarbures. Le procédé complet se déroule en une seule étape et en présence d'un système catalytique constitué d'un métal du groupe VI B, d'un métal du groupe VIII et d'un support de nature acide constitué d'une silico-alumine mésoporeuse.
