The invention relates to a catalytic membrane reactor comprising (i) a body, (ii) a tubular ceramic porous membrane element that is coaxially disposed inside said body to remove the hydrogen and (iii) a catalyst for the thermal decomposition of the hydrogen sulphide into sulphur and hydrogen. According to the invention, a layer of said catalyst is deposited directly on the tubular ceramic porous membrane element. The invention can be used in the treatment of gases that contain hydrogen sulphide.

L'invention concerne un réacteur comprenant un corps, un élément de membrane poreuse céramique tubulaire placé de manière coaxiale à l'intérieur pour retirer l'hydrogène, et un catalyseur de décomposition thermique du sulfure d'hydrogène en soufre et hydrogène. Ledit catalyseur est directement déposé sur l'élément de membrane poreuse céramique tubulaire en forme de couche. L'invention est utilisée dans le traitement des gaz contenant du sulfure d'hydrogène.
