-19- ABSTRACT A catalytic dewaxing process for production of low-pour lubes from bright stock. Catalyst aging is reduced, and cycle life prolonged, by use of a catalyst 60% of the pore volume of which is in less than 20 nm diameter pores. The catalyst comprises a 1-12 constraint index zeolite in a matrix which may be composed of certain forms of alumina, and optionally contains a Group VIII metal such as nickel.
