Methanol is converted in light molecular olefins C2-C4 with 93-100% degree of transformation and more than 90% selectivity in which more than 80% are ethylene and propylene upon a microspherical catalyst based on SAPO-34 zeolite, with continuous reaction-regeneration in a fluidized bed reactor-regenerator system. Ethylene/propylene ratio is changed in relatively large limits, 0.69-1.36, by the modification of reaction temperature and space velocity of the feed.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de convertir du méthanol en oléfines moléculaires C2-C4 légères avec un taux de transformation atteignant 93 à 100 % et une sélectivité supérieure à 90 %, dont plus de 80 % sont constitués d'éthylène et de propylène, sur un catalyseur à microsphères composé de zéolite SAPO-34, au cours d'un processus de réaction-récupération en continu dans un système de réacteur-récupérateur à lit fluidisé. Le rapport éthylène/propylène est modifié dans des limites relativement importantes allant 0,69 de 1,36 par la modification de la température de réaction et de la vitesse spatiale de la charge.
