IMPROVED CATALYTIC WOOD STOVE Abstract: A catalytic combustor wood stove is presented having a combustor ignitor plate which promotes turbulence and mixing of combustion gases with air from a distributed primary air supply to deliver thoroughly mixed gas to the catalytic combustor to light off the combustor at low firebox temperature (in the range of 400° F to 500° F) but operate the combustor at high temperature on the order of 1000° F to 1200° F or higher.
