ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed a righting device for righting twin hulled vessels. The device includes a pair of load bearing members converging to a point and having an elongate element extending therefrom. The load bearing members are pivotally connected between the hulls and moveable from a storage position generally parallel to the plane of vessel then upright to a use position perpendicularly oriented thereto when the vessel is in a capsized position. The structure of the righting element and its positioning between the hulls facilitates a single user to right the vessel when capsized to a non-capsized position.
