The invention relates to a catching device, particularly a fall arrester or height securing device, which accompanies a person to be secured on a movable or stationary guide serving as a safety device, particularly a securing rail, climbing protection ladder, or securing rope, having a housing (10) and having a first wheel (12) being pivot-supported on the housing (10) about a first axis (20), said housing disposed such that the same rolls off on the safety device. For this purpose the first wheel (12) is a coupling, particularly a centrifugal force coupling, wherein the coupling is configured and disposed such that the same connects the first wheel (12) to a second wheel (14) in a force transmission manner upon exceeding a predetermined rotational speed and/or linear acceleration and/or rotational angle acceleration and/or linear speed of the first wheel (12), wherein the second wheel (14) is disposed and configured such that the same rotates along with the first wheel (12) at a force transmission connection to the first wheel (12) via the centrifugal force coupling, and actuates a latch (16) such that the latch (16) blocks a movement of the catching device relative to the safety device (26) in interaction with the safety device while moving from a releasing position into a locking position, wherein the catching device comprises an attachment eyelet (17) for attaching a safety rope of a person to be secured.
Linvention concerne un appareil de préhension, en particulier un système dascension sécurisé ou un appareil antichute, qui accompagne une personne à assurer sur un guidage mobile ou fixe servant de dispositif de sécurité, en particulier un rail de sécurité, un système dascension sécurisé ou une corde de sécurité, comprenant un boîtier (10) et une première roue (12) logée sur le boîtier (10) de manière rotative autour dun premier axe (20), agencée de manière se dérouler sur le dispositif de sécurité. La première roue (12) est un accouplement, en particulier un accouplement à force centrifuge, laccouplement étant conçu et agencé de telle sorte quil relie la première roue (12) à une seconde roue (14) en réalisant une transmission de force, lors du dépassement dune vitesse de rotation prédéfinie et/ou dune accélération linéaire et/ou dune accélération de langle de rotation et/ou de la vitesse linéaire de la première roue (12). La seconde roue (14) est agencée et conçue de manière à tourner avec la première roue (12), pendant la liaison avec la première roue (12) réalisant une transmission de force, par lintermédiaire de laccouplement à force centrifuge, et de manière à actionner un verrou (16) de telle sorte que le verrou (16), en passant dune position libre à une position verrouillée, bloque tout déplacement de lappareil de préhension par rapport au dispositif de sécurité (26), en coopérant avec le dispositif de sécurité, lappareil de préhension présentant un illet de fixation (17) pour attacher une corde de sécurité dune personne à assurer.
