A delivery catheter having a shaft with a distal end and a proximal end for delivering an ablation probe to a body site. The delivery catheter comprises mounting members located at the distal end configured to receive an ablation probe; and attachment members configured to attach the distal end to a tissue surface. The delivery catheter is preferably configured to allow an ablation probe mounted on the distal end to be manipulated so as to move along a tissue surface and perform linear ablation. The invention also provides a system comprising the delivery catheter of the invention and an ablation device having an ablation probe, wherein the delivery catheter and the ablation probe are configured to allow the ablation probe to be mounted at the distal end of the delivery catheter.
La présente invention concerne un cathéter de transfert qui comprend une tige présentant une extrémité distale et une extrémité proximale et qui est conçu pour transférer une sonde d'ablation au niveau d'un site du corps. Ce cathéter de transfert comprend des éléments de montage permettant de relier l'extrémité distale à la surface du tissu. Le cathéter de transfert selon cette invention est de préférence conçu de manière à pouvoir manipuler une sonde d'ablation montée à l'extrémité distale, afin de la déplacer le long d'une surface de tissu et d'effectuer une ablation linéaire. La présente invention concerne également un système comprenant le cathéter de transfert selon cette invention et un dispositif d'ablation qui présente une sonde d'ablation, le cathéter de transfert et la sonde d'ablation étant conçus de manière à pouvoir monter la sonde d'ablation à l'extrémité distale du cathéter de transfert.
