The invention relates to a catheter for sucking, fragmenting and removing material extractable from hollow bodies, in particular thromboses and embolic bodies from human blood vessels. The inventive catheter comprises a working head (11) which is displaceable along a guide wire (6) independently thereof, is disposed on a distal end of the catheter and is provided with at least one lateral opening (14). Said catheter (10) also comprises a flexible feed screw (13) which is rotatable by means of the rotary drive (2) of a drive unit (1) remote from the working head (11), a flexible hose (12) which encompasses the feed screw (13), is connected to the working head (11) and is embodied in such a way that it is possible to remove thromboses and detached embolic fragments and a cutting tool (13), wherein the feed screw (13) is designed in the form of a cutting tool interacting with the opening (14) of the working head (11) for chopping the thromboses and detached embolic bodies between the peripherial edges (13a) of the feed screw (13) and the edges of the opening.
La présente invention concerne un cathéter conçu pour aspirer, fragmenter et évacuer de la matière extractible de corps creux, notamment des caillots sanguins et des corps d'embolie de vaisseaux sanguins humains. Ce cathéter comprend une tête de travail (11) qui peut se déplacer le long d'un fil de guidage (6) indépendamment de celui-ci et qui est située à l'extrémité distale du cathéter. Cette tête de travail présente au moins une ouverture latérale (14). Le cathéter (10) comprend également une vis de transport flexible (13) qui peut être mise en rotation au moyen d'un mécanisme d'entraînement en rotation (2) d'une unité d'entraînement (1) qui est éloigné de la tête de travail (11), ainsi qu'un tuyau flexible (12) qui entoure la vis de transport (13), est relié à la tête de travail (11) et est conçu pour évacuer les caillots sanguins et les fragments d'embolie détachés et un outil de coupe (13). La vis de transport (13) est conçue sous forme d'outil de coupe coopérant avec l'ouverture (14) de la tête de travail (11), afin de fractionner les caillots sanguins et les corps d'embolie détachés entre les bords périphériques (13a) de la vis de transport (13) et des bords des ouvertures (14).
