ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A catheter anchoring device for securing a catheter to a body fluid-carrying conduit in a patient is provided which comprises anchoring means for attachment to the patient at a location at which the body fluid-carrying conduit is located, an adjustable saddle movably mounted on the anchoring means, the adjustable saddle including an aperture adapted to receive the said catheter, a contact surface having a shape adapted to mate with the body fluid-carrying conduit in the patient, and a saddle channel extending between the said aperture and the contact surface for receiving a catheter, the adjustable saddle being movable to permit a catheter disposed in the saddle channel to be accurately located in the body fluid- carrying conduit.
