A track (60) may be provided having grooves (70) in which one of the vanes (16) passes, which track (60) provides additional microbubbles, so as to allow for following the movement of the catheter (12) and track (60) by ultrasonic imaging. The catheter (12) provides for reduced abrasion, as well as ease of following the movement of the catheter (12) through the patient's vessels.
