The invention relates to a cathode for the electrolytic deposition of zinc or the like, which comprises an electrolyte bath, which has a cathode sheet, a supporting and contact bar, which is attached to the upper edge of the plate--like cathode sheet and has a higher stability than the cathode sheet and has edge strips mounted at the lateral edges and possibly at the bottom edge of the cathode sheet. The edge strips are composed of an electrolyte-resistant metal, the electrical conductivity of which is lower than that of cathode sheet.
Linvention concerne une cathode pour la séparation électrolytique de zinc ou similaires à partir dun bain électrolytique, qui présente une lame de cathode, un rail de support et de contact fixé sur le bord supérieur de la lame de cathode en forme de plaque, ayant une stabilité plus élevée que la lame de cathode, et des baguettes de bordure placées sur les bords latéraux et éventuellement le bord inférieur de la lame de cathode. Les baguettes de bordure sont à base dun métal à résistance électrolytique, dont la conductivité électrique est inférieure à celle de la lame de cathode.
