ABSTRACT A cathode ray tube is provided with a faceplate having a phosphor screen for visibly displaying information thereon and is also formed with an image transfer means along an edge of the faceplate. When it is desired to record the visibly-displayed information from the phosphor screen, the information is scrolled along the image transfer means which transfers the image to a recording medium whereon the image is recorded.
