Abstract of the Disclosure Polymer having tertiary amine oxide groups may be cathodically electrodeposited from aqueous electrodeposition baths. In one embodiment the polymer is thermosettable. In another, the polymer, whether thermo- plastic or thermosettable, has tertiary amine oxide groups present in an amount in the range of from about 0.01 to about 0.8 gram-mole of tertiary amine oxide groups per 1000 grams of the polymer.
