A cation-exchange membrane for electrolysis which comprises a fluoropolymer having ion-exchange groups and a porous base. It is characterized by having, on the anode-side surface of the membrane, protrusions comprising a polymer having ion-exchange groups. It is further characterized in that: when the average value of the heights of the tops of the protrusions from the anode- side surface of the membrane is expressed as h (~m), then 20<=h<=150; when the density of the protrusions distributed is expressed as P (protrusions per cm2), then 50<=P<=1,200; when the average proportion of the areas of those bottom parts of the protrusions which are on the same level as the anode-side surface of the membrane to the area of the anode-side surface of the membrane is expressed as S (cm2/cm2), then 0.001<=S<=0.6; and when the average proportion of the areas of the top parts of the protrusions to the area of the anode-side surface of the membrane is expressed as T (cm2/cm2), then T<=0.05.
Membrane d'échange cationique pour électrolyse comprenant un polymère fluoré ayant des groupes d'échange ionique et une base poreuse. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu~elle possède, à la surface côté anode de la membrane, des parties saillantes comprenant un polymère ayant des groupes d'échange ionique. Elle est en outre caractérisée en ce que : si la valeur moyenne des hauteurs des sommets des parties saillantes à partir de la surface côté anode de la membrane est exprimée comme h (µm), alors 20<=h<=150; si la densité des parties saillantes distribuées est exprimée comme P (parties saillantes par cm ), alors 50<=P<=1,200; si la proportion moyenne des superficies de ces portions inférieures des parties saillantes situées au même niveau que la surface côté anode de la membrane par rapport à la superficie de la surface côté anode de la membrane est exprimée comme S (cm2/cm2), alors 0,001<=S<=0,6; et si la proportion moyenne des superficies des portions supérieures des parties saillantes par rapport à la superficie de la surface côté anode de la membrane est exprimée comme T (cm2/cm2), alors T<=0,05.
