A cosmetic composition is provided which includes a starch, a cationic copolymer having a monomer unit which is acryloylethyl tri(C1-C3 alkyl)ammonium salt, and a cosmetically acceptable carrier. The compositions are used to impart radiance with soft focus effect onto skin. Most preferred as the cationic copolymer is acrylamide/acryloylethyl trimethylammonium chlor-ide/tris(hydroxy methyl) acrylamidomethane copolymer.

L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique qui contient de l'amidon, un copolymère cationique possédant une unité monomère qui consiste en un sel d'acryloyléthyle tri(C1-C3 alkyl)ammonium, et un véhicule acceptable sur le plan cosmétique. Les compositions de l'invention sont utilisées pour appliquer une luminance à effet de flou sur la peau. Le copolymère cationique préféré consiste en un copolymère d'acrylamide/de chIorure d'acryloyléthyle triméthylammonium/de tris(hydroxy méthyl) acrylamidométhane.
