CATIONIC POLYDIORGANOSILOXANES FOR TREATING PROTEINACEOUS SUBSTRATES Abstract New cationic polydiorganosiloxanes are disclosed that are substantive to proteinaceous substrates. These cationic polydiorganosiloxanes have methyl substituents, and diaminoalkyl substituents reacted with benzyl chloride. These cationic polydiorganosiloxanes are easily emulsified and are useful for treating human hair, human skin, and animal fur.
