ABSTRACT A low shrink lightweight caulk for sealing structural joints com- prising on a dry solid weight basis: 40% to 75% by weight of an acrylic copolymer latex binder; and 25% to 60% by weight of glass microballon powder having a predominant particle size less than about 130 microns, together with at least one member selected from the group consisting of binder, plasticizer, filler, solvent, adhesion promoter and coloring pigment, said caulk being particularly useful for sealing structural joints due to increased heat insulating properties as well as appreciably no shrinkage.
