ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for treating a cell by propelling a piston in a cylinder by an explosive to let the piston collide with a plate body having a small injection hole and injecting a cell treating material attached to a front end of the piston to a sample containing the cell. The cylinder is provided with a vent hole for discharging a combustion gas of the explosive and a variable pressure control valve communicated with the vent hole for adjusting a propelling speed of the piston. The variable pressure control valve may be provided with a spring for normally closing the valve and allowing the valve to be opened by a pressure of the combustion gas.
