The present invention relates to a catalytic cellulignin fuel obtained by a biomass pre-hydrolysis process and that is composed of cellulose and globulized lignin with a specific surface of about 1.5 - 2.5 m2/g. The cellulignin fuel according to the invention may be ground down to particles smaller than 250 µm and has a combustion heat value that can reach up to 18 - 20 MJ/kg and an ignition time equal to or shorter than 20 ms (0.02s).

L'invention concerne un carburant cellulo-ligneux catalytique, obtenu par un procédé de préhydrolyse de biomasse, composé de cellulose et de lignine globulisée avec une surface spécifique d'environ 1,5 à 2,5 m?2¿/g. Le carburant cellulo-ligneux, obtenu par application de la présente invention, peut être pulvérisé en particules inférieures à 250 µm et possède un pouvoir calorifique de combustion pouvant atteindre entre 18 et 20 MJ/kg et un temps d'allumage égal ou inférieur à 20 ms (soit 0,02s).
