The present invention provides a thermoplastic composite comprising: a polyolefin; a cellulosic filler; a carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic acid anhydride graft polyolefin having an acid number greater than 15 mgKOH/g; and, a basic reactive filler present in an amount of 5-25 wt%, based on the weight of the composite. Such composites may be used in structural and non-structural applications and exhibit improved mechanical properties, thermal properties and/or resistance to biological degradation.
La présente invention concerne un composite thermoplastique qui comprend : une polyoléfine; une charge cellulosique; un acide carboxylique et/ou une polyéfine greffée anhydride d'acide carboxylique ayant un indice d'acidité supérieur à 15 mgKOH/g; et une matière de remplissage réactive basique qui est présent à un taux de 5 à 25 % en poids, selon le poids du composite. De tels composites peuvent être utilisés dans des applications structurales et non structurales et présentent des propriétés mécaniques et thermiques améliorées et/ou une meilleure résistance à la dégradation biologique.
