Cellulose powder having an especially excellent balance among moldability, fluidity and disintegrating property is provided. Cellulose powder having an average polymerization degree of 150 - 450, an average L/D (the ratio of the major axis to the minor axis) value of particles of 75 µm or less of 2.0 - 4.5, an average particle size of 20 - 250 µm, an apparent specific volume of 4.0 - 7.0 cm3/g, an apparent tapping specific volume of 2.4 - 4.5 cm3/g, and an angle of repose of 55° or less.

L'invention concerne une poudre de cellulose particulièrement équilibrée en termes d'aptitudes au moulage et à l'écoulement, et de désintégration. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que ladite poudre présente un degré de polymérisation moyen de 150 à 450, un rapport longueur/diamètre moyen de 2,0 à 4,5 concernant des particules de 75 mu m ou plus petites, un diamètre de particule moyen de 20 à 250 mu m, un volume massique apparent de 4,0 à 7,0 cm<3>/g, un volume massique apparent après tassement de 2,4 à 4,5 cm<3>/g et un angle de repos inférieur ou égal à 55 DEG .
