ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION There is disclosed a cement logging tool which operates on the principle that a differential in fluid viscosity between cement and other fluids in the borehole results in a like differential in fluid drag. The cement logging tool is comprised of a body adapted to be connected to a wireline, the body having a chamber with a plurality of openings which are adapted to permit the entry of fluids; a movable member disposed in the chamber; and a sensor housed in the body which is adapted to translate movement of the movable member into an electrical signal.
