Abstract of the Disclosure A cement mixture is provided and its method of preparation, the cement mixture includes 0.2 to 4% by weight based on the weight of cement clinker of a derivative of lignin-sulphonic acid, for example a salt, in the manufacture of the cement the clinker is ground in the presence of the derivative and facilitates the grinding, the derivative also has a controlling effect on the setting of the cement. The cement also contains cement clinker, filler, water, a car- bonate and optionally boric acid.
