ABSTRACT CEMENT PRODUCT A process of treating a cement product which has been produced by setting of a cement composition comprising at least one hydraulic cement, water, and at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible organic polymer and which has a flexural strength of at least 15 MPa, the process comprising heating the cement product in a controlled manner in order to thermally decompose at least some of the organic polymer. The thus treated product, although having a reduced flexural strength, is less sensitive to water and less flammable than the cement product before treatment. The flexural strength may be improved by contacting the thus treated cement product with water.
