The present invention relates to a cemented carbide wear part with a wear surface with improved friction and wear properties. This has been obtained by providing the wear surface with a surface layer with a thickness of 0.5 µm to 25 µm, preferably 1 to 10 µm with an average WC grain size of less than 500 nm. The surface layer is obtained by lapping the wear surface with an abrasive disc for at least 10 minutes at 1000 to 3000 rpm at a pressure of 0.1 to 0.5 MPa preferably without any grinding media.

La présente invention concerne une pièce d'usure en carbure cémenté pourvue d'une surface d'usure aux propriétés d'usure et de frictions améliorées. On obtient une telle pièce en dotant la surface d'usure d'une couche superficielle d'une épaisseur comprise entre 0,5 µm et 25 µm, de préférence entre 1 et 10 µm, avec une taille moyenne de grain de CW inférieure à 500 nm. La couche superficielle est obtenue par rodage de la surface d'usure avec un disque abrasif pendant au moins 10 minutes, à une vitesse comprise entre 1000 et 3000 tours/minute, à une pression comprise entre 0,1 et 0,5 MPa, de préférence sans avoir recours à un corps broyant.
