A cementitious veneer and laminate composition is provided. The cementitious laminate composition includes a substrate (10), a primer layer (20) applied to the substrate (10), the primer layer (20) comprising a mixture of polyvinyl alcohol catalyst, Portland cement, and sand; and a cementitious veneer (30) layer applied to the primer layer (20), the veneer layer (30) comprising a mixture of magnesium sulfate, filler, magnesium oxide, gypsum cement, and polyvinyl alcohol catalyst. The polyvinyl alcohol catalyst comprises a mixture of polyvinyl alcohol fibers dissolved in water and mixed with butylene carbonate. The veneer layer (30) is applied to the substrate (10) and primer layer (20) by means including spraying and manual spreading. The veneer layer (30) can be ornamentally manipulated either before or after curing of the veneer layer (30). The veneer layer (30) composition can be formed into laminated tiles for use in building applications.
La présente invention se rapporte à une composition lamellée et de plaquage à base de ciment. Cette composition lamellée à base de ciment comprend un substrat (10), une couche d'apprêt (20) appliquée sur le substrat (10), ladite couche d'apprêt (20) comprenant un mélange d'un catalyseur de poly(alcool de vinyle), de ciment Portland, et de sable; et une couche de plaquage à base de ciment (30) appliquée sur ladite couche d'apprêt (20), ladite couche de plaquage (30) comprenant un mélange de sulfate de magnésium, d'une charge d'oxyde de magnésium, de plâtre et d'un catalyseur de poly(alcool de vinyle). Ledit catalyseur de poly(alcool de vinyle) comprend un mélange de fibres de poly(alcool de vinyle) dissoutes dans de l'eau et mélangées à du carbonate de butylène. La couche de plaquage (30) est appliquée sur le substrat (10) et la couche d'apprêt (20) au moyen à la fois d'une pulvérisation et d'un étalement manuel. La couche de plaquage (30) peut être traitée d'un point de vue ornemental soit avant soit après la réticulation de la couche de plaquage (30). La composition de couche de plaquage (30) peut être formée de manière à constituer des carreaux lamellés pouvant être utilisés dans des applications de construction.
