The Center Beam Golf Shaft can be used in metal, graphite, compo- site or wooden shafts. The typical modern golf shaft design is a hollow, tapered circular shaft approximately 30 inches to 40 inches long, depending which club the shaft is used for. It is made of very thin material to give it strength and flexibility. Because it is circular, the flexibility of the shaft is equal in all directions. The Center Beam Golf Shaft has a metal beam, or a graphite beam, or a composite beam, depending on the shaft you are using the beam in. The tapered beam is installed down the center of the tapered circular golf shaft, and is, depending on the type of material that it is made of, welded, soldered, glued, epoxyed etc. to make the beam and shaft one piece. This new shaft has decided advantages over the other shaft in that the beam changes the degree of flexibility and the direction of the flexibility angle. The flexibility angle will now be more horizontal compared to equal at all angles. The horizontal flex gives the Center Beam Golf Shaft the ability to direct the golf ball in a straighter line. The advantages to the golfer is enormous. Golfing will become more accurate. The metal shaft will have a metal beam inside. The graphite shaft will have a graphite beam. The composite shaft will have a composite beam. This will make it easier to bond the pieces into a one-piece shaft.
