Smooth vertical movement of the center column of a tripod is assured by resilient sleeves fitted on the column and urged by a spring against stationary inclined inner surfaces which deflect end portions of the sleeves against the column to maintain continuous frictional resistance against movement of the column through the bore.
La présente invention a pour objet un assemblage de manchons résilients assurant le libre coulissement d'une colonne centrale à travers la partie centrale d'un trépied sous l'action exercée par un ressort contre des surfaces internes stationnaires et fixes, lesquelles dévient les extrémités des manchons contre la colonne pour maintenir une résistance au frottement continue en opposition au déplacement de la colonne à travers l'alésage.
